Remember that video someone make a while back on the evolution of F1 via line drawings? Hope so..... Well, someone slowed it way down. Me like.

"Jackie Stewart hops into Rick Mears’ 1988 Indy 500 winning Penske-Chevrolet PC 17 in this video from Jackie Stewart’s World of Speed.
The footage of him out on the track is set to his considered, experienced commentary, in which he compares the IndyCar to Formula One cars of the time, talks about its handling and power and provides some thoughts on Penske and his team."

Hot damn!
I saw this video a few days ago. Lame narration, poorly done, ruined it for me. I remember thinking "if only that narrator would shut up, he's drowning out all that beautiful engine music in the background!" Or something like that.
Apparently I wasn't the only one because due to "popular demand" they released a w/o narration version.
Full screen, volume up, enjoy.

Just think if BMW had that motor in their new cars they wouldn't have to
pump the exhaust sounds through the radio speakers to make it sound...
...fast!-
