    I never got the impression that honest criticism was the problem. I think the issue was the incessant ragging on the F56, when that was the only point of a post and it had absolutely nothing to do with the thread. That can affect the spirit and growth of a site like this, and it certainly can discourage new people from participating. If MA doesn't grow, it will die.

    Like it or not, this is a business - not a democracy or anyone's personal playground.

    Just my $.02.

    Sorry, Dave.0, but the "royal we" is an old writing term that means "everyone" - with a king or queen at the top and the rest of us as equal peasants.

    However, maybe we can arrange for a special title for you. Prince Dave.0 just doesn't sound right to me. Maybe someone else has an idea… :biggrin5:

    Oh great now we are talking about queens! :frown2: Besides I have always know Dave.0 is royalty....he's a royal pain in the a$$. That's why we like him! :lol::lol::lol:

    I'm staying out of the whole thing. I just think some people take some of the joking the wrong way. As Far as the F56 goes I don't like the way it looks, if you do great enjoy your mini. You may not like my R53. I get crap about it all the time from friends and my son(that's the last time I buy him a Mustang!). But it's ok it's still cool to see the F56 fixed up by people who have them.

    Good to know.

    I have heard that some owners of Classic Mini's will kick-out/throw objects at the newer generations of MINI at car shows in England. A tad extreme.

    I wasn't a big fan of the F56 at first but it is growing on me... slightly, I will never get rid of my R53... however a second MINI could be put in the stables...
