Oh those.... They are the autonomous driving buttons. Push them & read the paper while your MINI drives for you.

"Auto Pilot", in other words. Cool, then I could sleep half the trip to MOTD and arrive refreshed. Cool.

I would love that option for 81 South for 6 hours.

No way I'd ever sit in a car that drives itself. Heck I can barely sit in a car that someone else is driving.

I just realized that the new thingie in the center of the dash would be a perfect place to stick my GPS with double sided tape to cover it up. The bar across the grill is not a problem, because I would cover the center portion up with four driving lights and still have plenty of air flow. I'm good with the new design now.

I had a horse once that drove himself. It was very cool, because all I had to do was sit there and look like I knew what I was doing.:lol:

The non-S looks better than the S model, I guess. That's something positive, right?

    Hah....
I wonder how many "S" owners will try and order the Justa bumper?

    Let the modding begin....

    Hmmmmm....

I like what MINI did with the interior.... Not so much with the "S" exterior and who knows what disaster awaits the JCW with the tacked on bumper "extensions"?

Wonder if I'll like the BMW 1 Series better....

Hope the 1 series styling doesn't get borked up....

You guys are way too critical. Didn't your mother ever told you, "If you don't have anything good to say, say nothing at all?"

With that in mind, I'll say this:

I'll bet Fiat is rolling on the floor right about now....

Quick.... Somebody go find Gert Hilderbrand.... This really needs to be fixed...

Way too many hipsters in the design department....

OK, I figured out what the two buttons by the cruise control are and Crash was almost right. They are camera based and allow the cruise control to maintain a certain distance from the car in front or a car behind.

Soooooo, if Dave O. comes up behind me on the Dragon, the cruise control would keep me a certain distance in front of him and I would be flying down that mountain.:lol::lol:

It would also keep the Dragon Parade in a very orderly formation.

When Frank Stephenson was asked what he thought of the R56, he supposedly said (paraphrased), "looks good, but what did they do to the headlights?"

This time it will be, "looks good, but what did they to the front bumper, the rear tailights, the central speedo AND the headlights?'
