I've just ordered these wheels today for my F56



They are Speedline Marmora's. Their latest wheel.

I have gone for:

18x8
5x112
ET 45

I will wait & see how they sit & if needs be, bang on a set of 12mm hubcentric spacers.

 

because we can?
because this car is so bloated and fat it needs more lug bolts?
Because this engine will make up to 350 hp we need more lug bolts?
Because we do not want MINI owners reusing thier wheels from thier old MINI?

gotta be in there somewhere

 

You are most welcome-sorry if my last post sounded sarcastic, but it is one more thing that annoyed me when I discovered NONE of the wheels we like on our current cars were going to work.

 

Or NONE of the current cars are going to work on the wheels we like. :aureola: :lol:

 

......oh, the horror of having a MINI seen in public with a set of the beloved BMW wheels

 

Most people remove the boat anchors that BMW/MINI supplies with their cars anywho. Lots of nice wheels in the aftermarket. I wonder if the BMW front driver will use the same bolt pattern as the BMW/MINI.

Hoping to see fire sales on MINI 4x100 rims.

Cant's have too many rims. I have 12 that live in my garage & probably could squeeze anther 4 in there.

 

If I had a 3 wheeled Morgan. All of my cars use 4 wheels.

 

measurements from NM Engineerings car-they, as you may know, manufacture wheels for our cars as well as VW & AUDI products so one of the reasons they have a new F56 is to measure every inch of it for product development. Since we are nearly neighbors and I sell more of thier MINI parts in SoCal than anyone, it was easy to find out for you.

5x112 opens the door wide for the F56 to use VW, Audi, and M-B wheels. The high factory offset isn't really a snag, the F56's wheels are tucked so much that reducing the offset 10mm should still not even be flush.

e.g. VW mk6 Golf TDI wheels are 17x7.5 et45 5x112. Styling and weight aside, with correct hub-centric rings they'll fit great.

Everyone start hounding Vortex classifieds for Lamborghini Gallardo wheels!

 

None of my usual sources for this info have been updated with the new 2014 F56 as of yet.

 

I thought it was the same as the countryman/Paceman? Maybe I am wrong.
