It was worth a shot, lol.
Thanks for the info - I have been trying (to no avail!) to get this info here in the UK - even the dealers could not tell me what the PCD was!
How did you get the info, have you been able to take some measurements from a car?
Motoring Magic got to test the NM F56.
No apologies needed. I'm sure we all share the same sentiments on MINI's dumb/drunk engineering.#%€£¥@&$
measurements from NM Engineerings car-they, as you may know, manufacture wheels for our cars as well as VW & AUDI products so one of the reasons they have a new F56 is to measure every inch of it for product development. Since we are nearly neighbors and I sell more of thier MINI parts in SoCal than anyone, it was easy to find out for you.
F56 owners(& to-be) shall be very grateful for this vital lil info. A few have gotten or kept wrong wheels thinking they're the usual 5x120.
Yes me included!!
I had a lovely set of BBS RC 303's lined up - but I've had to now list them on eBay!!!
nm Engineering WILL be creating new wheels for F56, but they are a ways off.....
Or list them here on M/A with pictures.
Magic, would you be able to check lowest possible offset w/o rubbing or getting camber off-spec? R53s came w/ et48 but were fine w/ 35 on mild lows, stock size tires & no camber tweaks.
I'm hoping I can fit 18x8.5 et35....
et38, I'm guessing. 35 might call for a bit more negative camber. Again, ur hunch is as good as anyone's.
It's curious on the F56 that all OEM wheel sizes/widths from 6.5x16 to 7x18 are ET54 - on 1st and 2nd Gens, they had different ETs.
I've just ordered these wheels today for my F56
They are Speedline Marmora's. Their latest wheel.
I have gone for:
I will wait & see how they sit & if needs be, bang on a set of 12mm hubcentric spacers.
That plus some decent lows should make the F56 looking like a MINI.
5x112 opens the door wide for the F56 to use VW, Audi, and M-B wheels. The high factory offset isn't really a snag, the F56's wheels are tucked so much that reducing the offset 10mm should still not even be flush.
e.g. VW mk6 Golf TDI wheels are 17x7.5 et45 5x112. Styling and weight aside, with correct hub-centric rings they'll fit great.
Everyone start hounding Vortex classifieds for Lamborghini Gallardo wheels!
I have a set of VW 5x 112 off my old Golf. Does anyone have the bore size. If they fit, I will have them powder coated and use them for winters. Just an idea.
