Looks like Kelly and I are a go for Saturday. If you think I drive slow when I'm by myself, you're all in for a real treat when my wife is sitting next to me telling me to SLOW DOWN!
We use to have a cabin in Big Bear, the mountains about 2 hours east of L.A.. The last hour was all mountain roads and I always ended up pissing her off. Maybe she'll be enjoying the scenery so much she won't notice how fast we're going. Nah...

 

Only saw one Trooper today south of Caldwell & he flipped to follow us, but flipped back around when a semi roared past. Bet the semi caught a ticket. I did not.

 

Abarth is wife's new car. Traded in her busted down 05 MCSa. Abarth wasn't even on our radar until after we left MAG last Saturday and happened by Crown Fiat. Started looking into it and fell in love.

 

Hard driving on rte 555 tasked the all season 16's, but otherwise a very fun car. The selectable automatic was fun, with throttle blip on downshifts in sport mode. Nice pops and burbling sounds from exhaust. We like it a lot.

 

I'd say Babs & I would be.
