My friend with a Datsun may be joining. He's working on some timing issues and said it should be running correctly by then.
Sounds like you already have a lunch spot picked out, but in case you don't I recommend the Hocking Hills Dining Lodge. Just had their buffet yesterday and it was really good. Don't know if it is a Sunday only thing (which wouldn't work for this drive I), but I heard that their regular menu is really good as well.
Any of the state park lodges do a good job of feeding the hungry. I've not tried that one Brian, I'll have to make a point of doing so.
Looks like Kelly and I are a go for Saturday. If you think I drive slow when I'm by myself, you're all in for a real treat when my wife is sitting next to me telling me to SLOW DOWN! We use to have a cabin in Big Bear, the mountains about 2 hours east of L.A.. The last hour was all mountain roads and I always ended up pissing her off. Maybe she'll be enjoying the scenery so much she won't notice how fast we're going. Nah...
Julie wants to take her car and she wants to drive some fun parts. I'm bring a blind fold. Your on the list Ron.
Nick, I don't know your route but I ran through HH yesterday and Route 180 from Adephi to Route 159 is getting major repaving done. Colors were nice and there's lots of places selling pumpkins.
LEO's were very heavy yesterday. I saw so many that I finally said screw it and ran the speed limit. Very little traffic yesterday. At the top of Jack Run Road there is a turn off that overlooks Clearcreek Valley...it was absolutely beautiful but the sun was directly in my camera and I couldn't get a good photo. Leaf colors are bright!
Only saw one Trooper today south of Caldwell & he flipped to follow us, but flipped back around when a semi roared past. Bet the semi caught a ticket. I did not.
