I was planning on getting there 7:30-8am, I wouldn't mind getting off before 9 if we can.

I have radios but can't hear them. Between the new quieter exhaust and my old age hearing it's a lost cause.

I actually may have a radio. Not sure it's the same kind as others use, but I'll bring it and see if they're compatible. I'll aim for 8:30am, but I've got a 45 minute drive just to get started!!! (Not that I mind)

I found my radios and are charging them up

I've been told we want to skip the Poe Run portion of the drive to save the front end of lowered cars and Mark's splitter.
Instead of turning on Poe Run
continue on SR 327 to Adelphi
continue straight to pick up SR 180 North
L at T stop SR 56 Take to Circleville & Whittich's ice cream
This is the detour we took this year. -

The rest of the story...
The drive through Tar Hollow starting on Poe run is a very nice one, except the lower part of Poe Run is in very bad shape. I hit a place where there was a ditch across the road, it had been refilled, but just about knocked my teeth out at 50mph. I was sure I had broken something. I was right I'd snapped a RF swaybar end link.:mad2: Might have been ok at 20, but I can't drive that slow.
The rest of the road is smoother, but it has a high crown in places. Fun in a rally car not so much in a lowered car. It's a splitter eater for sure.
Nick & Jason may want to take their rally cars though & meet you guys on the other side. -
I have a lack of motivation to perform actual work task, so I will type up a version of the route back from Gallipolis that replaces the Poe Run section with the detour and include both versions in the packet and people can decide which one to take.

Could you send me a copy of the route suitable for lowered Minis?
I am working this weekend and will do my own solo run first week of November.
Have fun and take some pics for me. -
