    I'm sorry for your loss, as pets ARE part of families. Yes, you rescued Dizzy, but we can all see from the pics that he rescued you and your family, as well. My sincere condolences...now, gather yourself and rescue another doggy for a chance for a great home!

    Thanks everybody for your words and support. The last few weeks were very stressful as Dizzy fell into his rapid decline. I am at peace knowing that we loved and cared well for him.

    Sorry for your loss, you did everything you could possibly do, what a great love story.

    You will have him in your hearts and memories, always hard to let our cherished friends go, but they are not in pain anymore.

    There is a dog heaven and a rainbow bridge, be happy that Dizzy is watching over you from afar. :)

    We have adopted our next greyhound, named Blaze. He has been wonderful.

    We recently adopted 2 greyhounds a couple months ago... they are wonderful dogs :)

    Sorry for your loss, but thanks to people like you, these magnificent animals have loving homes! We do rescue here in the Central Valley, small dogs though. ACT: Animal Compassion Team. Nothing more heart breaking seeing unwanted animals :frown2:

    RIP Dizzy. I'm sure that he was grateful for the life you provided for him and he's gone to a better place. My condolences.
