During the 2012 edition of "Tuner Grand Prix" were different tuners on the Hockenheimring show what their products really could. In the category AC Schnitzer-tuned MINIs went, just like last year there with the price off.
With a time of 1:10.87 was the MINI even considerably faster than the number two. That was a Schaefer tuned MINI who had put down a time of 1:13.0. A standard MINI John Cooper Works Coupe doing a lap in 1:19.1 and MINI John Cooper Works Challenge (on slicks) does it in 1:13.9.
The power is boosted pk/280 of 211 Nm to 300 Nm and it is pk/340 AC Schnitzer also managed to further the MINI more than 100 pounds lighter. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h is now in 5.4 seconds instead of 6.4 seconds.
The AC Schnitzer RAPTOR is currently mainly meant as a test platform for new technology. And that is also evident from its price of € 62,000.

They are testing this on the infield of the F1 track..........put it on the F1 track and see where it ranks.......... It's like fighting in a phone booth with a midget. He gets to take a full swing at you while you only get to give him a 1/4 punch......
