Leaving the dragon last year. Not the best shot I've ever taken of the car, but certainly one of my faves.

Ya know I've never stopped at that overlook... Maybe this year... I was going to do it last year, but somebody decided to drive off the side.

This was right after I came upon you in you precarious position.

Dave drove by right before I grabbed the shot, too.

Well, I was thinking about shooting my MINI at this old grain silo near me, that I have used in the past for some cool magazine shoots. But, it looks like Mother Nature vetoed that idea by blowing it down in a storm a few weeks ago.

I would actually still do it, but the city surrounded the wreckage with chain-link fencing.

I shot an S5 there a few years ago...

It is sad when you lose a good location for a shoot, you will have to search out another one or two, then get a picture of your MINI, versus all those delicious cars that make money for you. :)

I think you oughta go take the shot of the car at the site anyway. That is, of course, if you can get in there ok. I think it'd make for a great pic!

    Yeah.
I'll bet the red and blue strobe lights would make for interesting reflective effects!

You should photograph your MINI in front of those grain silos while they are still standing. :D

My most recent favorite pic: taking a break while running the Foothills Parkway in Great Smoky Mtn Nat'l Park during MOTD.

One of my current favorites. I will be sending a couple to Nathan for the 17 Calendar.

Growing pretty fond of this one... The whole set turned out great for a spur of the moment pit stop on my Memorial Day coffee run.

Swapped the grill for an aero - so time for some new pix of the red Mini. Gray car will get a DIY metal mesh grill job over the winter.
