My wife is a shutterbug, I bought her a nice Nikon SLR camera for her birthday a few years ago. It came with a couple of lenses and I noticed that she was frequently switching lenses for the shots she wanted. For her next birthday, I got her an 18-200 mm zoom lens, now she doesn't have to swap lenses. She takes her camera everywhere.
You have something better than one of the best cameras. You have the skill to use it exceedingly well. I bet you'd do great work with a homemade pinhole camera.
Photographer humor. It's why people want us to take pictures at parties -- so we are too busy to talk. :frown2: CD
This one was taken with my cheesy Samsung S3 phone, but a photo I will keep forever: my son in his first car, sitting in it for the first time after I hauled it home from Florida last December. Sometimes you just don't have time to get the good camera. Shots like this would be lost if it wasn't for our modern phone gizmos. He really wanted a Mini from the day I got one, so I guess I raised him right And yes, it's red, because red is faster. My insurance is happy, too, because I had to write an obscene check to insure him, big enough to buy another nice camera. Happy Teen Driver
Quite possibly would have been the best side picture of the Rat-MINI ever, if I would have been using my current phone! All of the glare off of the candies didn't blind out the camera and you can actually see the details in the paint. Even the different tones of rust show up. The night this was shot, out at my adopted dad's place in Tennessee was EPIC! The light lasted for over an hour of shooting, and theres still a ton of pictures from it on the camera I took down there.
This is almost the same angle as the last pic but a different frame. Really wish the camera wasn't so blurry.
