Nice work Dick, I might have to send you my dash for a little work. Nothing wrong with a few Tats :cornut: I let her take a few pics with GIR anyday.
Too bad this is all ages forum... Here is something for the brave (NSFW): Zenfolio | STOCK PHOTOGRAPHER | JCW series of Models...
I was working on my classic Mini and walked outside and down the driveway to throw some trash away. I turned around and liked what I saw, so I grabbed my camera and got both my Mini and my MINI in the same shot. Took me a couple of tries to get the right exposure.
My lightweight "packable" long lens Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 EDIF AI on Nikon D600 The other car, same lens, but made to look like a 40 year old shot because I didn't get it quite as sharp. Light was dropping quickly. Washed both cars before the 30 mile drive. Now covered in bugs, dust and pulverized cow dung again. argh. Vintage look Mini unmolested version Stock suspension here
I still haven't taken any new pictures of my MINI. It's not the car's fault, and it is not a lack of time, locations or camera equipment. It is some kind of curse. When something becomes your job, you just don't do it when you are not working. On the rare times I go to cars-and-coffee, or some other local car thing, I find myself not wanting to bring a camera, if I'm not getting paid for it. I just want to check out the cars and talk to other car guys. I kind-of "clock out" and actually look at the cars without a camera in front of my face. I keep telling myself that I need to take my MINI out and do some good shots of it, but I never actually do it. Maybe I need to see a shrink about this. CD
