The weather may be warm enough that I can get the garage cleaned out and FINALLY start working on the MINI, and get ready for the track, hopefully May 10th. I've got the itch real bad after this winter...Anyway, to get into the mood, and fill up some time until then, a thread of favorite track videos is in order. My still all time favorite: http://youtu.be/kyMDNzhfwn0
They make cream for that.. just sayin' :biggrin5: I was once at an autocross and a Focus managed to end up on skidding about 100 feet on it's roof. It happened so fast I didn't get video.
I saw this today and thought it was pretty cool. Videos - RACER VIDEO: How to pass 15 cars in one lap at Sebring one of my all time favs: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faK1RCiTM6g#t=68"]Toyota Tacoma Pikes Peak - YouTube[/ame]
True, but I've heard it doesn't accelerate as well after...Still, maybe I'll try that coming down from 130+mph at RA this year, there's a guy in a GT-R I'd love to dive bomb as pay back.... Liked the Pikes Peak Video. I'm hoping to catch that on TV this year, should be an interesting interesting event this year--anyone know if it'll be live anywhere?
Then and now. Pit crew evolution over a 63 year time period. Don't blink towards the end or you'll miss it. F1 pit stop comparison between the 1950s and today. [VIDEO]
That's pretty cool! The water guy in the Indy stop is killing me!!! He's there having a casual conversation with the driver: Starting at about 30 seconds: "Hey, want some water? Oh, you'd rather I give you a drink rather than throw it at you? Here's one. Want another? I know this is kind of awkward, but what is your sister doing tonight? She isn't seeing anyone is she? Does she like Italian? Could I come over maybe around 8, and take her out? Here, let me get that windshield for you, you need anything else? Please, put in a good word to your sister for me!!" The F1 guy didn't even have enough time to fart.
