If you have a brave soul and are not easily offended you can look for yourself on MININuts >>> Who MINIS Wins. But consider yourself warned. And good luck with the search function. It's really bad over there.

There's a long list of predecessors- from which I would pick:

    Volvo P1800ES:

And maybe this never came to the US, but is possibly the best-resolved 'sports estate', Reliant Scimitar GTE:

+1 I used to have an MGA and did plenty of resto work on it, but if I had another MG it would have to be the GT.

    Hah....
All this time I thought I had a R56 Hardtop, turns out if I squint really hard, I really have a R56 Shooting Brake.

    From Wikipedia.....
A Shooting-brake, or "Shooting Break", is a three-door car body style with a squared-off rear. They generally have a rear liftgate like a wagon or a hatchback although one or a pair of side-hinged doors is also sometimes seen....... Who knew????

    Sooooo.....
Please refer to my MINI as a JCW Works Edition Shooting Brake.:D

....you can call them shooting brake if you want but most of them are merely.....how did they used to say it? Two door station wagons.... LOL

R53/56 = Squared up hatchbacks as would be examples such as the Z3 coupe....

Sorry corrected my post, meant Z not M....

Guess I just see them as a hatchback. They remind be so much of the old Z cars I had just with the roof line carried further back.... Would they call a 280Z a shooting brake?

OK after getting over my first impression that this was some sort of crossover Ferrari and having time to digest all the info and pictures I could find..... The FF is not a crossover and remains true to what is a Ferrari!

Enzo would be proud to take three friends down to his favorite Bistro in it and I like it!!!! :)

Thinking I might need to revise my four seater choice on the 5 car garage list.....

I don't know. By all accounts in everything I've read and watched, Enzo detested even the fact that he had to produce street cars. Any street cars. And saw it as only needed to enable him to pursue his true goal of racing.
