    We're too sensitive!

We found that the RPM single has occational glitches in it. This can cause a flash of the light cause the earlier firmware did RPM calculation for each and every pulse. We have firmware that does some sanity checking to see if the sucsessive pulses make logical sense, and if not throws the last one out. It has a moving window of 5 or so measurements. It's version 1.79 and is on the FES Auto web site here.

If you are getting a "Green Red Blue" (powering up) sequence that means that the power or ground wire is loose.

Cool. I'll check the firmware. I think usually I only get the red flash. I'll post back later. Thanks.

this should fix you right up then...

What's wierd, is some cars are worse than others. Also, my own car never had the problem at first, but then it showed up there. I'm guessing that some bad pulses get through the ABS system as the car gets beat and the wheel speed sensors dirty or shot.
