^^^ Hey Jim.... Check out the comments made on Best Motor Werks site..... ....Proactive Maintenance BMW's oil change intervals can reach 15-20K - in our professional opinion this can be detrimental to long term engine health. We recommend a 7-10k mile oil change interval depending on driving style the factory's "lifetime transmission fluid" is often a self fulfilling prophesy, automatic transmission fluid and filter changes recommended between 60-80k......
Only one of my changes actually went to 15K. Normally they fell around 10 and 12. Now I am doing them at 10K, so all is good. I am about to turn 61K, so transmission is next. Breaks are due in 2600, so may do the tranny then. Jim
It feels like it, with the speed and smoothness of my shifting. :biggrin5: BTW: It does have oil ya know. Jim
Fiat has sold out all 2012 Abarth's. They initially slated 1000 Abarth's for US sales but when all 1000 were sold before they were even built Fiat went ahead and slated another 2000 for US consumption. These are now all sold too. Orders now will be delivered as 2013 models. Looks like the Abarth is a hit, even if it is in smaller numbers. Wonder how long they can keep up these sales numbers.
I have seen a few down around Savannah. Kind of a neat little thing for a city car--but they look way small.
You can put ear rings on a pig, but it doesn't make the pig happy or any prettier. Have to say I like the seats though.

:cornut: Looks like a 'speed bump.' HHHMMMMMMMMMM, in Abarth form, well............................ First however, they'd need to fix the quality assurance, reliability problems, and the suspension. Still though, it's merely a Fiat. Okay 2nd car for the MINI? Jason
I've been seeing lots of them around town. Interesting little cars. That roadster is an odd looking thing for sure. As far as quality goes the jury is still out. We already know about MINIs quality.
My mini is in the shop now for a harmonic balancer. When I went to pick up a rental, Enterprise had a couple of Fiat 500s. I was hoping to get to play with one, but instead I got an Impala
Looks like the same tight packaging that we have on our MINIs. Makes the R53 engine room look spacious in comparison. The Abarth uses smaller horses so the barn can be smaller me thinks.
Yet another page torn from MINI's playbook...sort of. Fiat Starts Custom Shop For U.S. 500 Buyers (MotorAuthority.com)
