Dents and dings are nothing to worry about. The taillight/mirror can probably be sourced at a junk yard. Did the power steering feel ok?

Not really, I have never used one to buy any MINI parts. I've used pick n pull in the past for other vehicles. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

    So, updates since the purchase:
    1. Driver side mirror
    2. Passenger side mirror
    3. Passenger headlight bulb
    4. Passenger marker light bulbs (front and back)
    5. Driver side taillight
    6. Speedo
    7. Shift knob insert (checkered)
    8. Hood support struts
    9. Tires
    10. Alignment

    TO DO:
    1. Repaint white holey wheels (corroded from obvious lack of cleaning off brake dust)
    2. Replace lower grill (it's cracked)
    3. Driver door ding (Seems like an easy fix)
    4. Roof top hail damage (bottom of my priority list)
    5. Interior deep cleaning (gotta get rid of the previous owner funk)
    6. Investigate minor oil leak (maybe one drop a day, very minimal)
    7. Fix passenger seat (won't recline)

I think that's it for now!

Good start. I'm done for a while I think too. Next is teaching my daughter how to check fluids and tires.
