Well I decided to enter my new Clubby S into a car show here in northern Nevada just to see what would come of it. The classes were not in my favor and had to choose the Import/Tuner class. The field had 8 vehicles total and there was some pretty stiff competition from the Tuners. In the end the MINI took 1st place! Considering the only thing I had done to the car was window tint as of right now I was quite surprised by the response I received. I was the only MINI/Mini there and had quite the crowd around me for the better portion of the event. I lost count as to how many times people would come up and ask "what is that?" lol. Had a great time and loved talking to people about my MINI and Minis in general! Hurricane Dave

Congrats! I see you had the bonnet open too! That's the way to show it! All too often at these shows cars are showing with the bonnets and boots closed and they win. Too many friends I guess. When we go to popular vote shows if a vehicle has the bonnet closed we don't even look at it! Justr my2cents.
Thanks a lot guys! Yes! A stock Clubby can and did beat several nice Subaru's (including an almost brand new WRX STI), Civics and Acuras. Mr. Jim I must say that I believe what put me ahead was the fact that the boot, bonnet, both doors plus club door, barn doors and sunroofs were wide open for all to see! Almost every car there had everything closed with a couple using springs to just crack the hood open.
Congrats I don't open my bonnet at car shows because it's nasty and I don't want to show off my dirt.
