Hey Mike, very interested in getting a tune from you. What would you recommend as next performance mods? I'm thinking JCW 380cc injectors. Let me know you thoughts...thanks
I would recommend a cam shaft with the 550cc injectors (you will max out the 380s with a GP IC and cam shaft). Plus with the 550's, you have the option to go with E85 in your car (if you so choose). BTW, not all 550cc are the same. There are some on the market (the Red and Yellow composite ones) that are the 'drill-out' ones and they will have running issues. This car in post #33 had the 'drill-out' 550cc and we switched it over to the OE Bosch 550s and made an extra 4whp. Agree, YMMV. When i upgraded my "S" intercooler over to the GP, i strapped the car back on the dyno just to double-check. On my green car, i have to do quite a bit of map adjustment to bring the AFR back down to a 'straight line' Whenever possible, get it tuned with each power mod upgrade - your motor will love you cheers.
Don't worry about the tune till you get an intercooler. We've been using the GP intercoolers alot and really like them. I've seen some good gains. Actually have a special diverter for the GP intercooler coming soon too.
