7 posts since November of 2015 and all of them complaining about a dipstick. Thanks for your contributions to this forum. We get it, you don't like your dipstick.

    Oh...
And uncoil it before you use it or you won't git an accurate oil level reading...

What what is this dip stick think? I have never used it. I drain all the oil then I fill it with new oil 0w-40 until a little is running out of the filler cap. Then I crank it up when it quits spewing oil everywhere I know it has enough oil for the next two years. On average it takes 5 or 6 gallons of oil. I do this in the street because its messy. It will spit a few gallons on the ground.

Now if I could find out why my Mini runs so bad.........it must be that 0w-40 some old fart told me to use.

I'd say change the oil and see where it is...That is where you should keep it.

^^^ Sad that you're so unhappy. Happiness comes and goes, while ones personal ethics is inherent... Maybe you should check yourself and your language.

Ow-40 is good stuff...tends to be a better oil group than 5w-40 or 5w-30 in my research...
I would use it with ZERO hesitation in a mini...other makes that have switched to 0w-20 like Honda...maybe not...but on a mini where 40w is listed as a suggestion.. Do it...
And buy the craven speeddipstick if you don't have one...

You'll rethink your choice whence you've broken that OEM piece of crap off in the crankcase...

This must be just a 2nd Gen thing because I can read mine fine and I check my oil often.
