Yeah the steering wheel sure is jam packed with buttons/dials. Hit the wrong one, and I would think things change quickly,,,and not for the better.

That was cool!
Looks a lot like the cockpit views in most racing games. -

Very cool, but he was suffering some pretty serious understeer....:eek6:

It's called cold tires..........

No doubt, those tire warmers hadn't done squat...and me thinks the lap was more about the camera angle than making the car turn....
-
Gee, with the use of "variable ratio steering racks", we didn't find it unusual to see the need for more steering input leaving the garage.....
-
I like that same camera set up for the Isle of Mann TT

It is understeer as you can see him put some rather severe steering inputs into the car around some of the slower corners, and no they weren't as tight as the pit.
-
For this track the ratios were set on the slow side verses say Monaco. In all of the turns you can see the speed of the reaction of the front wheels to the steering input remain constantly direct, though slow . Turn in was also crisp and controlled particularly in the turns at these time lines :
1:13
1:16
1:20 - 1:24
1:33
1:44
1:55
2:01
2:12
2:21
2:29
He did have to make one correction at 2:12 but over all a very nice run for an opening lap . Considering how smooth he was I would have to guess he was well under his and the cars limits , especially driving with one eye -
