    Welcome.

    A 2009 coupe would be an R56. I have one in Laser Blue with a white top, and love it. I downsized from an Audi crossover that probably weighed as much as a minivan.

    Is yours a CooperS or a Cooper? Where does it live? You may have some members and get-togethers in your area.

    Oh, and people here are addicted to pictures, so post em' if you got em'.

    caseydog, it's a Cooper, not an S. She lives in Northwest Missouri in the little town of Cameron. The photos I'll post were taken in Springfield Mo. where we picked her up.

    Thanks for the welcome, folks! The kids were really excited to ride in a car with a sunroof, it has taken the place of the DVD player; I like that aspect myself.

    We're looking forward to road trips and adventures.

    In car DVD players are good "pacifiers," I guess, but when I was a kid in the 60s, we played road games on long trips, like "I see something." As an adult, I still like to pass the time (and miles) playing those games -- but my dog sucks at them. :biggrin5:
