Convertible or hardtop?

On the 07 Convertible the button is to the right of the e-brake handle.
1. Before a journey, start the engine, but do
not start driving.
2. Press the button until the indicator lamp
in the display elements lights up in yellow for several seconds.
3. Drive off.
Initialization is completed during the
drive, without any feedback issued. -
MSC 07 Convertible here too. I don't think that I have ever seen a yellow indicator light come on, but not to worry. I make sure I have the car headed forward at a complete stop, depress the the reset button next to the parking brake and begin moving forward at a very low rate of speed (while the button is depressed). Release the button after a few seconds of movement, still moving at a low rate of speed. The red light indicating a flat tyre will go out, if it does not, repeat the process. I have had to reset on occasion after simply filling the tyres with air.
Do check the tyres however when the light comes on. I had a slow rim leak once and the light came on when I was doing 70 mph. I slowed down until I could pull over and I indeed had a flat. I limped home the short distance remaining and by the time I got home the tyre was hot to the touch. Believe it or not, the tyre was not damaged and it was sealed and is still going strong. I love that light and my run flats. -
Sort of like programming the convenience garage door opener. :mad2: Not to convenient at first. Once I did master the programing however, I programed my Christmas lights into the third button. Now when I drive up to the house I can turn on the lights remotely and MINImowse and I can enjoy the holiday season before slipping into the garage. -
LOL. What dot, what colors?
