    Ok.. here is what I did..
    On your Flickr site, click on the "share" button on the righthand side, and also then check the "show short URL" checkbox and use the link provided

    Then it seems to work like a a normal link.

    Ahhhh. Thanks so much, Ernesto!! And everyone else. I was not using the short url! In the meantime I have posted a bunch of them to the MTTS 2012 Flickr site. But I'll try my links on MA again.
