I had carpeted floor mats on my '07 Cabrio (Justa) and when I switched to the MINI brand rubber mats, I was amazed at how much QUIETER the interior of the car became!!

Coco
My first set lasted 5 years... And then were replaced for half price, that's their deal for as long as you own the car. The are sooooo much nicer than OEM.. And hide dirt.. -
My mats from cocomats.com are still doing well after 7 years. They are a premium, high quality product.

They don't sell the factory mats for the R53 in tan anymore, so I'll head to the Coco Mats next.
I'm with you, Nathan... the OEM rubber mats are way too slippery. I got a set when the car was new to use during bad weather/winter. After 4-5 uses, I left 'em in the garage as I just wasn't safe with my feet sliding around. -

I've never tried Coco Mats so maybe I would like them better but my favorite mats I've ever owned are the Hex-O-Mats I have now (bought from Bavarian Autosport). I know, they're rubber and all-weather...you're not a fan, etc. On the other hand, I've never found them to be slippery at all, they're better looking than most and blend in well (IMO), they're heavy duty, they don't move around, plus made in the U.S.A. and come with a lifetime warranty.

I cast my vote. -

Real COCO mats (not cheap FleaBay knockoffs) are excellent. I ordered a set at the Dragon a few years back and they still look brand new.

Hmm, did not know these existed. Schooled again! :aureola:
...and they'll send a swatch to you for $1 to verify the color match before ordering! -

If you really want the Velco you can get a some at Lowes and add it but you wont need it as they don't move. The COCO mats are heavy and little pointy nubs on the back of the entire mat that hold it in place. Also they are cut to fit perfectly and do not have room to slide around. -

Hey Nathan, so what did you end up getting after starting this thread?
-
One more question, so they are thick, but do they feel bulky, they don't get in the way of the pedals? I hate to much material down there. They look awesome! Black/red for her Chili Red JCW convertible :drool We already did the Wet Okole, Black with red piping on her front seats, looks great
These would really look good in there.
