So the Coco mats have the "other" part of the Velcro on them? Was going to get them for the wife's Mini

The Cocomats in my R52 are now over 8 years old. They are holding up very well and I never experience any sliding. Their backing has pointy nubs that dig into the floor carpet and prevent movement. They are also thick, heavy and stiff, and fit so snugly into the footwell space that there really isn't any room for them to move around.

No, they do not have the Velco on the corners but its not needed.

If you really want the Velco you can get a some at Lowes and add it but you wont need it as they don't move. The COCO mats are heavy and little pointy nubs on the back of the entire mat that hold it in place. Also they are cut to fit perfectly and do not have room to slide around.

+1. They certainly fit well, are heavy, and don't slide around right out of the box, but I added Velcro on the driver's side at the OEM hold points near the seat. I like to maintain just a bit of clearance between the edge of the mat and the accelerator pedal, and the Velcro does the trick.

The black Coco mats with red accents are probably one of the more common color combinations around, but damn, they do look mighty fine in a Chili Red MINI. :ihih:

One more question, so they are thick, but do they feel bulky, they don't get in the way of the pedals? I hate to much material down there. They look awesome! Black/red for her Chili Red JCW convertible :drool We already did the Wet Okole, Black with red piping on her front seats, looks great  These would really look good in there.

Yup they are thick but do not get in the way of the pedals at all. They really stay in place. I would not say they are bulky but they are not paper thin like the OEM matts.

No interference with the pedals (I drive stick shift). "thick" is a relative term. They are much thicker than the OEM mats but not bulky.

I actually thought about buying some new OEM black ones, then changing the piping to Red, that would look sweet also, would match the Wet Okoles.....

Jimini, take a look at post #6 were I put the link to the real COCO matts. I am sure if you call them they may be able to add red trim if you want it.

Just make sure you get the real COCO matts and not the cheap knock-offs.
