Mine do the very same thing. I took the heavy shop stapler, ripped out the thin/worthless backing then stapled the velcro disks to the appropriate corners of the mat. They stay stuck pretty well now. It was that or buy a new set of mats every 3 to 4 months. Who ever it was designed them that way stayed up having too much fun the night before.

    Thanks, that's a good idea.
Don't have a suitable stapler, so I think I'll try hand-sewing them on with some heavy upholstery thread.
    That should work.

Interesting, I have never had a problem with my Coco mats moving around. I have been more worried abut the rubber heel pad wearing out before the mat does.

Just a suggestion, Gorilla Glue might work in the case, save your fingers from trying to push a needle through those mats anyway.

On the VW cabrio, they work their way forward, and the clutch pedal sticks
pushed down to the floor until you reach down and pull the mat back toward the seat.

^^^ Once the original mats wore out I had the same problem. I looked at mine last night while I was cleaning the inside. I ordered mine with the velcro, explains why I hadn't noticed them sliding around :D

The cheap backing rips right off. I glued the discs back on with liquid nails pro. They've been good for 2 years now.
