Yep, think sense the problem with the Dragon itself, some are canceling.... Which is kinda crazy because it is only one of MANY great roads there.. I mean what are ya going to do anyway, just drive up and down that same stretch...:crazy:

actually, this is not that uncommon. lots of folks have rooms from last year and then they have to cancel last minute. Fontana also refurbished some more cabins since last year, so they have a few more inventory then before.
As of this afternoon, Mon, 4/26, Fontana Lodge has several 2 Queen bed lodge rooms for Tues, Wed, Thur, and Sat night.
Friday is completely booked, but they suggest you check back often for cancellations.
This afternoon I was able to get in on Friday night too!
