My friend is REALLY interested in that car, but he has never driven a MINI, much less owned one. That said, though, he WILL become a MINI fanatic once he sees it, drives it, and buys it...GUARANTEED!
Bump. In a few days I will put it on the other site then I may try bring a trailer. Thought I would have my Exige on Monday but the shipper cant get it to me till Wednesday when I will be out of town. So now it looks like I wont see it till Friday
Just do it, bite the old wallet and do it! /I would if I had these two in my garage. Your wife even would miss the helmet, she said so.
The Chief financial Officer (wife) did say to keep it till I get the Lotus. But I also like to be able to pay bills. The Helmet is a great car and will be hard to beat.
The CFO has a valid point. Now that you you have the new toy time to sell that nice coupe. I'm pretty sure once you have the lotus you'll love it even more than the coupe.
If possible, I would keep both around until I was sure the Lotus meets or exceeds the fun factor of the Helmet.
You sold your R53. Your wife has her own MINI, so why can't you keep the Helmet as well as the Lotus? Makes perfect sense to me [we have 3 here, too].
My wife and I have 3 cars as well... a daily for each of us and the MINI for fun. I've got a nice, solid, boring daily (an 11 year old Volvo XC60 that we bought new for her) because I work from home and don't really drive daily and put my $ from that savings into the MINI. I can't imagine using the Lotus to get to/from work unless I was fit and in my early 20s (which was probably never the case for me ).
At one time I had six cars. Three fit in the garage & three sat outside on the garage apron. Now I'm down to two cars & I'm happy I no longer have a fleet of cars to keep clean & keep running. When I was younger it was no problem, but since I've aged a wee bit that would now kill me.
We have 3 cars. Well 2 cars and a truck. My 05 mini her 05 SLK and my 07 tacoma pickup. It work out just fine.
