    I had the same symptoms after installing a boost gauge, but it was just a bad seal on the boost tap. You have a leak somewhere, maybe the BOV, but more likely you jarred something loose when doing the oil line.

    POV? What?

    Do you have this diverter valve?

    If not check the OEM diverter valve for cracking.

    If you have the Forge diverter valve, make sure you didn't loosen or accidentally cut all the vacuum lines going to that component. When I installed mine, I used some extra 90 degree vacuum line fittings to decrease the amount of bends the rubber vacuum pipe had. Those lines can kink easily if you're not careful.

    Another easy thing to mess up when you're messin' around the turbo is the vacuum line to the wastegate.

    Might as well tighten all the hose clams in the air system while you're at it. They loosen over time.

    How many nipples does your Forge unit have? If only one, return for an upgrade. Remove the end cap and make sure the O-ring is intact and where it is supposed to be. Remove the piston, be sure there is a little lube on its O-ring. When screwing the cap back on, make sure it is very tight.

    Thanks all.

    I think it is the original. I haven't seen it, yet as it is buried under a bunch of stuff... But I know it was one of the first ones Way installed. Been great so far, but now that you say that, I think I recall him saying there was a replacement out for the originals.

    Become familiar with accessing the valve because it will require lubrication maintenance, and an occasional twist of the cap lock ring.
