    GooGone works on most adhesives - may need to soak for a few minutes.

    Yeah a 3m version of GooGone did the trick then some soapy water and presto.

    Yeah - I've used by googone and WD40 on those - saturate it well, and let it sit a while. Use a plastic tool to scrape as needed. Multiple applications may be needed to get it all off.

    Another helpful hint... when your wheels are warm it'll be easier to remove! ;)

    Used the WD40 cause I thought multiple spray applications would soak the backing a little better

    That and a former plastic cheesecake slicer and it all came off pretty easily (Wheels were also pretty warm from the commute from the office)

    WD40 also pretty good at removing road tar

    Washed and re-waxed and all is happy in Augie's wheel world. Lookin' good!
