Sounds like an upper strut mount to me. You should be able to confirm or dismiss this by listening there with the hood up while someone thorns the wheel for you. If so, replace with a good brand (Lemforder). If it looks good but just creaks, it isn’t an urgent issue, just annoying. If the rubber is cracking and starting to deteriorate, then fix it sooner than later.
