10 k is too low
I would think you should be able to get north of 14k or thereabouts privately

I say squeeze the dealer a bit and try to get 12K, most folks will not buy mods and it takes a special person to appreciate a nicely built MINI.
You might find the right buyer, but you will have to wait for him/her to make you the right offer.
I suspect 12K even with the right buyer, you have all this in your M/A garage I hope.

Sad, a 1K bump, try harder.
You could part it out, but the RMW build would not be the same without the great additions.
I say come as close as you can to the 12K, then let the dealer try to get 15K for it.
