So over the warm weekend I was putting on my parcel. When I took the knee panel down I found the relay that was going to the driving light switch zip tied to the the dash and a single yellow wire that came out of the harness. The wire went across the car and under the carpet of the passenger side.

I've never seen a single wire, outside of the harness in a car that wasn't an add on. But this one looks like oem does any one have an idea what it is?

The shelf looks great. I got the auto-up and brake light flasher all in too.

Sorry I can't help. I've hade that panel of on mine and don't remember seeing a yellow wire.
Don't pull on it, no telling what it's attached to!

That's it. I guess for a right hand drive you would see much. I should be too surprised to find zip tied parts, dangling relays, and stray wires. It is an English car after all. At least it doesn't say Lucas.

You may be seeing evidence of a flat rate mechanic having been there before you. Many are great, but many are sloppy & take short cuts.

The wire that triggers the airbag is yellow.....be careful messing around with that.
