Awwwwww man........... You were the one we were all searching for. Someone who bought one. And that someone who had actual first hand experience with it. So close........ It was not meant to be.....

I always liked most of MJ stuff myself. I thought that this thread was going to dissipate into the archives of what ifs. There is never going to be more than a couple (1) that actually have experienced testimony and I can see that the one tested results will be parallel to the like of Salem Witch Trials. A series of responses some fearing the truth by acting as a hearing court in which M/A member(s) are wrongly accused of practicing witchcraft on MINIs . Although no one can name one specific test on the product so like the Witch Trials it will go into forum history and in the end we do know who will get hung guilty(right) or not(wrong).
Like the witch scene from the Holy Grail:lol: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpMjakNhZTc[/ame] Mark
Cool, another Micheal Jackson fan but would've thought you'd prefer his classic "Smooth Criminal".......
If you'd like send it to me, and I'll characterize what it is, then if Thumper finds it actually works, anyone can copy it for a buck or so! PM me if you'd like to send it out.... Matt
So has anyone tried to refute my assertions that the G Force chip is nothing but a way to remove you from your money?
Why are the ad's here on M/A? If that's the question, it's rather complex. M/A uses Google's Adsense to display some advertising. Adsense has three types of delivery, Contextual, Placement and Interest Based. Contextual looks at the site, the thread and the post content and tries to place relevant advertising. Placement is where a company actively bids on a placement on M/A within the Adsense system. Interest-based advertising enables advertisers to reach users based on their inferred interests and demographics (e.g. 'sports enthusiasts'). It also allows advertisers to show ads based on a user's previous interactions with them, such as visits to advertiser websites. So if you were recently on say, Amazon and looking at a widget when you come to M/A you may see that same widget advertised. You can learn more about each type at How ads are targeted to your site - AdSense Help if interested. Even before this thread there were ad's for this item. Not only from the company that makes them but also from sites that market the item. I can block some of these but like it's like playing whack-a-mole. As soon as one is blocked, half a dozen others will fill in the slot for the same item in this case. What has surprised me is the number of "hits" this thread has drawn to the site. It shows very well in Google search for various terms including "gforce chip review", g force chip", "gforce chips" and "gforce chip". Overall those terms have an average click through rate of just about 10%, that is an incredible rate. As to position in the search results it ranks on average the 3rd or 4th item. Again, that is pretty darn good. This traffic that comes and reads the thread does a few things for the site. 1. Being these are mostly guests they see more advertising, increasing revenue and preventing me from needing to show more advertising to registered members. 2. I feel the review is honest and that the product is snake oil, all these others seeing those same thoughts hopefully prevents them from buying junk. 3. Some of these guests are MINI owners that register for the site. Hope that helps to answer the question.
NO. you are wrong! lean is hotter and rich is cooler. everyone knows that. that is why if ur tuning a motor u start it richer to be safe and from there dial it lean to a safe exhaust temp.
Sorry I bought this up again. Just saw the ad on another page and looked it up. If it helps pay the bills OK. Like they say if its to good to be true, then look some where else.
Not a problem at all. I'd rather people ask when they wonder why the site does something than keep it to themselves.
We could have some fun with this for only 69 bucks....We could all ship in 5 bucks, and see if one of the vendors would dyno it before and after, maybe make it an "event" at MOTD. The results could then be posted in a reference link everyone could forward to as needed. Case closed, humanity saved for all eternity (At least until the next time), and the meaning of life revealed to all (although in some way, shape or form that will have to have the number "42" in it). You could even start a pool on what the chip does or doesn't do, or even multiple pools, for HP, torque, temperature, and donate the proceeds to charity, or me, whichever everyone prefers.
