Garage find Mini expected to fetch £20,000

    Obviously not previously owned by any Tom, Dick or Harry, this 'garage found' 1965 Austin Mini Cooper Radford was once the property of Beatles manager Brian Epstein.

    The car may be the only unrestored example with Beatles connections. After Epstein’s ownership, the Mini passed on to George Harrison’s brother, Peter Harrison, who kept it until December 1971, suggesting that the Beatles probably came into contact with the car.

    I'm sure John, Paul George & Ringo never detailed that thing. Surely someone with loads of money will buy it.

    That's cool but man does it need a lot of work. Then again it looks better than Paul's face does now.

    a unrestored barn find Radford Mini would probably bring that alone but the beetles connection will probably fetch twice that

    Frankly, if the Beatles did a concert in my back yard, I'd shut the window. However, I can see some idiot paying top dollar just for the heritage the car MIGHT have. Other than that, it's just a rusted, rough example of a classic. I'd pass on it and I own a body shop!

    but again...a fully restored radford mini could fetch 20k+
