    Looks solid Minidave. You made quick work of that, you have a nice eye and some handy skills. There is always a tough balance between form and function and it looks like you made that mount sturdy without making it an eyesore.:Thumbsup:

    Thanks for the kind words, it definitely works better having it a little higher and further out, and it doesn't bounce a bit. I could use an extra long screw and spacer for the third leg if you have any lying about tho! :D

    All I had was some 2" X 1/4" flat aluminum bar stock to cut it out of, if I would have had something wider I could have cut it all in one piece instead of having to weld the leg on. I diidn't try to do the fancy expanded parts around the screw holes like Craven does tho....:cool:

    And I agree, aesthetics are important too; something can be robustly made and still look good, that's part of why I liked the original part I bought from CravenSpeed, which I pretty much blatantly copied, BTW.:devil:
