Naw in most threads I have fun with my MINI. Thats is what it is all about anyway!

With regards to the thread:
I use a combination of Craven pods, **pcv pipe (that's right)
and my favorite addition id the pillar pod compliments of our very own Nathan.

Sorry Lynn, I was talking about Mark doing all the "one word" responces, not you. You are right about having fun with your MINI and that is as it should be. I know there is a reason for all those switches and such, but with the shere number of them do you ever forget what one is for, or when to use it?

CRAVEN has a few vendors here on MA I do not know all of them so I will let someone else post that so I do not leave someone out.

Jim I was not kidding about a operation manual and electrical schematic of the stuff I installed. I have 12 addition switches and over 58 individual listings of about 100+ labeled wires. I needed the manual to reference what I did.

I don't want to post anymore "boring" pictures but :lol: auh I do have a custom built "flame" kit so in a way I do have an after burner switch.
Switch # 2 power NOS Purge/Flame Control Button-momentary shifter button

If you look you will see part of the kit in a previous picture. the Yellow coil is part of it.

Here's mine, and just like Lynn, mine is also made from a piece of pipe. Size wise it's perfect for 52mm gauges. I welded up a custom made bracket and included a smaller pipe to hold the FES shift light. The bracket attaches to the 3 stock screws on the back of the tach.

I shudder to think how many enterprising young drivers out there have managed to incorporate incoming SMS messages and mail alerts into a custom display in a gauge pod like these. Well, I suppose it beats them looking to the SIDE...

 

We have cats so it is always down.

The manual I made is mainly wire schematics in case of problem(s).

Nice work...Clean and simple!!

The illumination is controlled for application. The pillar gauge set is power accessory related NOS ,LPG so Switch #7 Pillar illumination
And all the accessory gauges are manually attenuated anyway.
As for raining... Santa Cruz we get drizzle and fog most every morning and the highest percentage of rain for CA.:lol:
