Yea, develop a long list of babysitters and enjoy the MINI's like you always have. (I'm going to get in trouble for this one).

Get her one of these
Mommy Necklaces - Jewelry Justified
It's not MINI related, but it makes nursing much easier, especially when the little one gets a little bigger and starts to pinch and pull hair, while nursing. And they're pretty. You could probably get one coordinated with your car
cheers and good luck! -

Sleep!!!!!!! Enjoy the Maxi Cosi Winston is using ours now and it is by far my favorite car seat it goes into cars so much easier than any of the Graco's we have. Then in a couple years you can get the Recaro booster, we have one and it is really cool seeing RECARO in the rear mirror.
Other advice is just go with your gut on things. You can find any advice you want someone will tell you anything. If something does not sound right then don't do it. -
Thanks everyone. We'll check out the necklaces and hope for checkered to match the one mini at least!
As stated above, we just got back from exchanging the Maxi for a Chicco as the Maxi was just worrying me on how close things were... this KeyFit30 installed a lot quicker and fits a wee bit better, and as we all know... in MINIs, "wee bit" is king. Oh, did I mention it has an R50 image to show which way the seat should be facing! -
Oh, yeah, my other tip. Keep them rear facing until 2+ years. It's safer, you can eat ice cream and they can't complain, and once you turn them around, you can't go back
Just sayin' Oh, yeah, and rock the parent thing. You'll be great!!!!!

We have the Chico KeyFit30 also and it fits the MINI great. You have to move the passenger seat up a little, but overall we are happy with it. We got the entire Chico Cortina KeyFit travel system with the stroller and and car seat and we love it. As for advice, get as much sleep as possible.
-
Yeah the stroller does not fit very well the Quinny would probably be better for size (however I have and R53 which is smaller than yours, so it might fit better). My wife has an SUV so that is why we chose that travel system. The car seat and the base fit really well though.
-
...I am a quinny and maxi cosi dealer if you want to consider either of those....the maxi cosi MICO seat fits great with the quinny strollers...give me a call as I have the Quinny Buzz and the Zapp to test out...along with the maxi cosi mico car seat...

Who needs sleep?
Just a quick update. Anna Mackenzie was born on Feb 18th. 6lbs 14oz, 19". I've got pics up on Flickr, let me know if you want to see them... but I had to include one here with her first mini swag, sent to her from Woody & Barbie down in GA. She'll have to grow a bit, but it'll be perfect for MOTD next year!

Thanks for the pictures.
If you keep your 09 long enough it'll be a classic.
