Someone mentioned the Mini specific gloves that has the inverted shift pattern on it and I mentioned that I know of a vendor that has several pairs of these for sale if anyone is interested.

There were also quite a few of us enamored with Bionic Gloves.
-
These gloves had forefingers that were too short and thumbs that were too long for me. (My hands are normal!)

Couple of pics of my Wheelskin. They come in many different colours, and you can order for a 2 spoke, or 3 spoke wheel. Not sure about 2nd gen.
Takes awhile to install, but it's pretty easy to do.

I have the Bionic gloves and they're fantastic. Not a real warm glove but very soft and thin so they give great feedback. Also made of machine-washable leather. I bought them on Amazon.com for about $35.

Just received my pair. Fingers are a little skinny/snug - but I suspect they'll stretch out a bit. Gonna wear them to drive in a little while.
-
So, exactly when would you wear them:
1. For cool days, I guess not too cold as someone reported they do not keep you warm.
2. For track days?
3. For just driving to work, or running errands, etc. in warmer temps?
4. To be cool, well they certainly do look ccol.
5. etc.
Just trying to figure out the usage model........... -

I'd wear them in cool weather, top down. Also possibly on the track and for performance driving (i.e. driving that should be on the track, but isn't).
-
Oh yeah, you definitely would have more opportunities as Blimey is topless at times. So, how's the dexterity? I am thinking plenty good enough for any driving need.

I really like my G-ForceGF G1 Gloves-SafeRacer for the fun runs. Very, very comfy.
Got a nice pair of deerskin/wool gloves for the winter time.
Lotsie, I have the sport wheel (the one with the thumb bumps) and have not considered a wheel cover but was wondering if you think that would fit over the bumps? -
^ Yeah, I was wondering about that too!

Check the Wheelskin site, Wheelskins - The World's Finest Genuine Leather Motoring Accessories, Steering Wheel Covers, Driving Gloves and Shift Boots They seem to make a lot of different styles. Sizing is very specific when you order.
