Word has it that one of the GM executives in yesterday's "Let's Pound Some MINI" board meeting broke down crying when he found out GM didn't have a scooter in the works. BRUHAHAHAH........:lol::lol::lol:

 

What's up with that? They need to get with the times.

Vauxhall is British and owned by GM, so that should be the name used if they plan to go after MINI. IMHO

I dunno, Mini has alway had a sporty or "Mod" cachet. Vauxhall's have been boring cars that your parents and grand parents drove.

You couldn't pay me to drive a GM anything. If I go American, it's Ford all the way - but that's just cuz I need a big *ss truck to haul horses and hay with. No way can they create anything as cool, reliable, sporty, fun to drive to compete with the MINI. Not that I'm biased or anything!

I don't believe all Vauxhalls are boring RE;VXR8 Not really a MINI competitor though.

 

eeeeewwww! It makes me think of Aliens for some reason, car spawn exploding from some GM exec. I think I need to go rinse that out of my head now, somehow.

 

We can only hope it's as good as the old Vega!

 

The Pontiac G8 was cloned from that car. IMHO one of the nicest GM vehicles in a long time.

The Chevy Cruze looks like it may be a nice car although the jury is still out on that one. In Yourope they are getting a Cruze Hatch. Not a MINI competitor, but a nice hatch.

The G8 and the VXR8 both came from the Australian arm of GM, Holden.
