It's that time. I'm not driving it much, only 300 some miles since the beginning of the year. Only 6k miles in the past 2 years since Chad (Detroit Tuned) rebuilt the engine with RMW sourced parts. New rebuilt SC. Tons of Mods, see my garage for a mostly full listing of mods. The car has flaws, some peeling paint on the rear arches, it's now 3 different shades of Space Blue. Exhaust needs work, the headliner is starting to sag. Those really nifty TR7 louvers that are grafted into the bonnet have some rust. Lot's of spares, 2 sets of wheels, etc. Even have a spare back glass. Would be a great base for a track or AutoX car. Has rollbar. At 90,3xx Miles Clear title in hand. Located in Columbus, OH Asking $5K.
It goes without saying, selling your beloved MINI isn't an easy thing to come to grips with. For me, it was like losing a family member... No worries though, as I wasn't as close to that family member as I had once thought. Best of luck Nathan and I hope all is well with you!
Good luck Nathan. Sad to see you sell it, but life goes on. If you still have it at the end of May bring it on Riverrun. That may rekindle your MINI love affair. What are your plans for your next 4 wheeled friend? Please don't say it's an Uber.
Good luck with the sale. And even if you no longer own a MINI, I am sure you will still be welcome to stop by M/A every once in awhile........as long as you don't stay too long.
Sad, I understand the need to move on to something else. I am thinking of going down to one Countryman, maybe keep the 11 and let the other go to a new owner. Post pictures of your next fun car. Don
A car from the 80’s? Serious respect here! I kinda want my old 84 Renault Alliance back, but I’d think about dropping a new Honda engine in it.
That's a shame, Nathan...not many of us veteran participants left down there and especially you. Your organizational skills there have helped to make MOTD run smoothly over the years. I daresay that Barry is going to miss that.
