Does pin 10 on the engine / body harness connection have 12 volts with key on? This was the magic that Colin used to cure my no-start condition when I did the manual swap. For some reason the immobilizer had lost its mind. Jumping 12v to this pin ONE TIME fixed it forever, in my case.

Wow! Nothing harder to fix than an intermittent fault....hope you guys find something you can point at as the real issue once and for all.
Does anyone think this could have been the root cause of the engine failure - injector not working or working intermittently? Seems like Nathan would have felt the power loss.... -

A dielectric is an electrical insulator, it is not a good idea to apply dielectric grease directly to an electrical connection, rather use it to help seal the plastic connector around the electrical connection from water and dirt.
