Its not that loud. Golly gosh jeepers.

It is loud enough that I don't hear passengers screams. The perfect level of loudness.

As Nate's heart gets better, Gnat's heart gets worse, a cruel, cruel irony. Gnat is turning into the Dorian Gray MINI.

There is a T-shirt in this somewhere....

The correct term is Jew-ish. The pause is important. A hand gesture is usually added when spoken, the accent on the "ish"

Car has Jesus Head #2. Installed in 2007 by Danny at MINICorsa.

Here is that head about to be installed, with timestamp. The ports had to be blacked out at the time as the design is proprietary.

Welp, spoke to Jan today and Dave.0 hit the head on the nail...

Jan requested that the head, injectors and pig tails be sent to him to be checked over. We'll see if the head can be repaired properly.

All I can say is "Don't burn your bridges"....

I'm pretty sure no one in Columbus would want to do that kind of major heart surgery on your MINI.....

It's got too many custom STUFFs in it...

It might be the kind of thing that goes with the territory, when you are living on the bleeding edge of modified MINIs being used as a daily driver...

Take a deep breath and "forgetaboutit", it'll get done when it's done...

When R53s run lean, it's cylinder #4 exhaust valves that melt, not #2. If the motor was running lean (all cylinders), or Nathan was getting no signal from the O2 sensor, he would have seen it on his gauge, which would have been a major red flag (the gauge provides the signal to the VIPEC). You could easily ohm out the wire to see if it is conducting, but based upon the symptoms, It looks to me that the injector is the more likely culprit.

Correct - I know that from first hand experience when my meth system failed on me during a tuning run. There is an adjustment in the Vipec where you can change an additional fuel trim for each cylinder to compensate for the differences in flow due to manifold design.
