Sometimes, that's a good thing... :ihih:

I mean, you know ... Better long-term performance, fewer leaks, you'll feel the difference in your feet, etc.

Because you keep destroying things, so they keep grinding more and more off the bottom of your head, and you gotta make that up somewhere...

Because the head and block have been decked to ensure the surfaces are flat and true in order to make a good seal, material was ground off. The gasket has to be thicker to make up for the material. If not, compression would be raised, pistons could hit valves, and the chain would be loose because the cam sprocket would be sitting lower.

Well they are rubber donut shaped things that are put on the rims of a car. It has been found they make for a better ride then the old steel wheels of your day. :biggrin5:

That's ok you don't have to thank me, I'm here to help.

    Nice job NKFRY and Chad....

I want you guys on my team when my MINI becomes an unreliable racekor FrankinMINI, used as a daily driver...

Nathan.... On the good side, the Gnatster has been garaged parked in "The House Of MINI Love" and out of the crosshairs of the Short North drunk drivers joy riding on a Friday night or the evil doings of that parkour guy.....

Since I'm about 130 lbs (depending on the size of my lunch that day), I don't have much an issue of fitting in the seat. :donut1:

Knowing I have the ability to interrupt conversations 3 blocks away with the simple twitch of a pedal is also sending me on a power trip.

Show them the trophy again Nate. The judges were looking for a run off then Nate showed. No competition after that.

Another Gnat centric T-shirt? At the rate Nate's going, my closet won't be big enough, thank god Dick doesn't do a shirt every time he blows something up, there'd be a worldwide shortage of polyester...There is a joke involving "wardrobe malfunction" in all of this, but I haven't figured it out yet.

    BIG UPDATE

    I. There allegedly will be video. People are talking to people that know of people that are people.

    B. I had a short text conversation with Chad of Detroit Tune fame, today.

    3. He'll be working on Gnat come Tuesday. I did not ask which Tuesday.

    d. Emily Martian painted a watercolor while at MOTD, entitled Gnat with a Broken Heart, to be revealed at a later date. In the meantime check out her awesome work here and here.

Ahh, the plans of men. A few cars scheduled before me were a bit more of a challenge than first expected.

    My patience shall be rewarded.

My fingernails, not so much. Nom nom nom.

    Think positive:

Law of averages. If the cars in front of you were more of a challenge than expected, then, statistically, yours should be less of a challenge than expected. It's all got to even out sometime...

Fingernails are ok. When you start going after your toenails, we have a problem. Although if you can do that, it means you've lost more weight, so there's that.
