Happens in my work too. It's hard to convey to the customer that you're just as frustrated at having to re-do something you thought was done, was a time-suck and will be again. It's never the simple problems though, always something that's not routine.
I feel for you guys! I hate electric problems. The last one I had was just a back up light on my friends Mini, kept blowing a fuse. I finally told them it may be best to live with out it.
