Wow Gnat sounds really good...kinda miss the rattle though...

 

Well, that should clearly answer the question asked earlier about the difference between a resonator and a muffler......one attenuates the sound, the other makes it quieter......

I hope you don't have the dreaded highway drone with that setup, but it certainly sounds agressive enough!

 

it actually is really quiet with the windows up in 6th on the freeway. it's gets really loud with the windows down and in it to win it. it has a good sound. the car pulls really good and has great compression again. We just sent of some data logs to Mynes to be looked at and touched up if needed. as everyone knows we are looking to make it reliable, power is good, but Nate needs to get around and stop spending money to fix things. as you have read the car is fast. it pulls well, but we want to make sure it stays this way for a long time. i can't imagine it would take more that two maps and data logs to fine tune it to perfection. When Nate gets here Saturday to pick it up, we plan on doing an alignment and showing his all the ins and outs of the tuning if he needs it. it should be all washed and ready for the dragon...just as soon as he breaks in the new rotors on the way home... We replaced a lot of bolts and hardware that was missing or wrong. i wanted to touch up every stone chip on the front also...but that will have to be another day.

I saw and experienced the Gnat pulls yesterday. This mofacko sounds badass!

 

Have been following the rebuild, sounds great, bet you can't wait till tomorrow. That said went down to the garage this morning and look what I see...

I am originally from Michigan and will be returning there when I leave Germany in 2014. Is there a solid club in the area? My parents have a house in Florida and it is only 2 hrs from Sebring. Looking forward to that.

Nathan (in a non-creepy and non-stalkerish way) I just drove past your house hoping to see your MINI parked out front. Guess you ended up having a very late night at DT after all. Glad you're finally up and running though! Hopefully I will hear GNAT v2.0 screaming down High Street sometime later this week.
