Very cool. Nathan might not want the MINI back after a few weeks with that beauty, Dave.

Crashton Club CoordinatorLove it!!!
Dad owned one like that back in the 50's. We always called it the rocket car.
ut: For the styling not the performance.
Nathan if needed I'm sure the MoM shuttle is still circulating around.

Is Chad documenting (taking pictures) of the work or is he just rippin' and wrenchin'?
-
In theory Chad will be feeding me pictures and other info as the job goes on.
We'll see... -

Need to clean the patient to get things underway. MINI being washed in 30 degree temps when it's raining out too...
After the drive up from Columbus with a bit of snow in the air and lots of salt on the ground it was one dirty MINI.

Crashton Club CoordinatorOh now I get it you are scamming Chad out of a free carwash. Bet you get a new pine tree air freshener too. Nice to see Gnat has made it to treeoz.

agranger MINI of the Month June 2009Supporting MemberLOL! They will match the JCW injectors that came out of Gnat and went into Jango a few years back during a tuning weekend in Dallas. Are you going to drop back to the IE Engineering fixed front camber plates that I sold with the springs? Those were solid as a rock and were made after the design change to a beefier setup. I pressed some fresh grease into the bearings before I sold 'em... if you have 'em, be careful: that grease is the stickiest stuff known to man!
PS: Only the rear springs are betas. They sit a bit lower (1/4 inch to 1/2 inch) than the final production version of the TSW springs. The beta springs I had on the front were hand-turned and a flaw caused one of 'em to snap when I hit a small bump down near John's Cafe one morning. TSW replaced 'em with a new set of production-run front springs, which is what you now have in your posession. I thought that Jeremy sold those to someone else in MM.org. I wonder how many hands these things saw?
This pic was taken with the springs and stock struts, if you want an idea of drop:

And a pic of the springs themselves! Those poor parts were removed over a year ago and must be very lonely by now!
