One of the Supercharger horns has what looks like some oil creeping up on it.

Looking at the where the S/C and the horn meet we find the culprit. There is a chunk missing from the gasket. Not only was oil spreading onto the horn but that is a boost leak too.

    Some more assembly pictures.

Being as there was at one point an engine damper in place the mount for this item had gone missing. It's now been replaced. The image came to me with the text: "Detroit Tuned - Making missing brackets reappear since 2004"

Those sharp eyed among you will notice the grand strap bracket on the carrier is slightly different. It snapped off, a new one had to be fabricated.

    Making progress ....

    More stuff in place

This was the last picture that came in last night, it was late and I think thats where progress stopped for the evening.

I'm starting to think GNAT is gonna be a bit of a rocket when I finally get her back. The car was pretty strong before, but with all the little things that The Chad has found that has been sapping power away fixed... Oh My...

Now I'm starting to get a little anxious. Mind you, just a little.

I lost that little bracket too... the one that is removed for use w/ the TSW engine damper but you need back when you go to the full poly engine mount. It wasn't that expensive at the parts counter, but it did take a couple of weeks to get in, so they must have had to order it from a distant warehouse.

I still have the bracket on my parts shelf. I just need to remember to give it to Chad when I pick up the car to replace the one he used for my car.

New Craven Speed R53 Cold Air Intake. Hmmm, they don't have a funny name for this item like they do for most other products. Anyway, this replaces the 1st generation Craven Speed CAI I had that, um...well...didn't seal well and drowned the ECU. A unique thing to my car since there are louvers in the bonnet.

    Gauges about to be installed.

Look at how clean that floor is too. I bet Matt cleaned it before Chad went to work in that area. I know it was not that clean when I dropped it off.
